First Friday

I recently went to first Friday on a whim. It wasn't what I expected. It interested me, people dancing and singing on the streets, groups of anxious people young and old bustling in and out of open galleries. Some of the galleries really impressed me. There was one with paintings done in a hyper realistic way. Those were beautiful. It made me appreciate some artist's skills while also remind me that I have a long way to go to reaching that level of skill and intellect.
